Vision, Mission & Values

Our Vision

To be a Christ-centred theological college and seminary that equips faithful, competent, and mission-minded leaders for transformative service in the Church and society across Africa and beyond.

Our Mission

The mission of Christian Missions Theological College and Seminary is to provide biblically grounded, academically rigorous, and contextually relevant theological and ministry education that forms spiritually mature, ethically responsible, and practically skilled Christian leaders.

CMTCS seeks to serve the mission of God by integrating Scripture, theology, and practice in ways that respond faithfully to the realities of African contexts while engaging responsibly with the global Christian community.

Our Core Values

Biblical Faithfulness

CMTCS affirms the authority of Holy Scripture as foundational for faith, life, and ministry. Teaching and learning are shaped by careful biblical interpretation and sound theological reflection.

Christ-Centred Formation

The Seminary is committed to the lordship of Jesus Christ and the holistic formation of students, nurturing spiritual maturity, moral integrity, and servant leadership.

Mission and Service

CMTCS exists for the sake of God’s mission. All programmes are oriented toward equipping leaders for service in churches, mission fields, educational institutions, and community-based ministries.

Academic Integrity and Excellence

The Seminary values disciplined scholarship, critical thinking, and academic honesty. Intellectual rigor is pursued in service of faithful ministry and responsible leadership.

Contextual Relevance

CMTCS takes seriously the social, cultural, and spiritual realities of African contexts. Theological education is approached with sensitivity to lived experience while remaining globally engaged.

Ethical Stewardship

The Seminary is committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of resources, relationships, and institutional trust.

Community and Collaboration

CMTCS values respectful dialogue, partnership, and mutual learning within the Christian community and with aligned institutions and ministries.

Living Our Vision

They provide the framework within which the Seminary seeks to fulfill its calling in service to Christ, the Church, and the world.
